About Legendary Small Town Trading Co.
Our Vision
Welcome to our beautifully restored 1897 building that is now the home of Legendary Small Town Trading Co. located on the historic Taylorville square in the heart of central Illinois.
Over the years, this architecturally significant building with a beautiful Mesker facade was at one time a bustling department store and a busy law office.
In 2022 Heartland Development Partners Inc. acquired the property and began bringing their vision for Legendary Small Town Trading Co. to life with authentic, historic renovation that would become the home of a lively cafe, one of a kind Tasting Room, unique event space, live music venue, and retail shopping experience.
We opened our doors in February of 2024 with a growing wine and spirits offering that is one of the best in the area, and a chef-created menu that is pleasing customers near and far.
